Over the weekend, Community residents gathered together to 

discuss "Guns" found at various Public Schools.

Many have say the meeting was successful ,

but some expressed their disapproval of the NO SHOW

by District Superintendent Dr. Alicia Thompson.

Another meeting is planned for this coming Sunday at ICT Launchpad, 

with many asking to bring solutions to the table

instead of more questions.

Here is our Question to you, 

How are your children coping with the ever changing culture and structure

of our Public School Systems?

The "McAdams Neighborhood Clean up is September 10th, 2022 from 8am to 12pm. Dumpsters will be located at 15th and Hydraulic. Volunteers needed to help address the severe Trash problem W/ meetings every 4th Thursday

Just recently a debate on Facebook, sparked by Community Activist 

Lawanda Deshazer, challenged the process of handing out another baseball park

instead of helping upgrade the city parks football fields.

The post prompted a response from the City's Mayor 

Brandon Whipple, who stated the money had been

raised by league 42, and was donated to the city

and the council voted to accept the donation.

The mayor also stated he felt Deshazer's comments

came after the opportunity of given
